Buddy A.
Private tutor in Tuscaloosa, AL
Education
My career in economics and mathematics began in earnest during my undergraduate studies at Wofford College, where I graduated in 2019 with a B.A. in the aforementioned subjects. From there I matriculated in the University of Alabama's doctoral program in economics, in which I am still a student. My undergraduate GPA was a little above a 3.7 and my graduate GPA, though still very much underway, is around a 3.5.
Experience
During my undergraduate studies at Wofford College I was a peer tutor for a number of subjects. Economics was, of course, my forte and I tutored well over 100 hours as an undergraduate. I also assisted a good deal in both mathematics and philosophy. While in my first year of graduate school I was employed, privately, by a number of students in economics courses.

Hobbies
During my free time I enjoy reading fiction and non-fiction of a variety, though non-fiction is usually pertinent to economics. However, I am an avid outdoorsman and love to hike, fish, ski (water and snow), climb, shoot, and perhaps above all else, golf. I also enjoy working outdoors in almost any capacity as I grew up on a farm where there was always something to do.
