I am a private school teacher in Tuscaloosa, AL. I have experience teaching Pre-Algebra, Geometry, AP Statistics, and ACT prep, among all subjects covered in a B.S. degree in mathematics. I graduated magnum cum laude from Mississippi State University, August 2018 and have since worked as a private tutor and private school teacher.

Experience

I am a current teacher at Tuscaloosa Academy where I teach grades 8-12. I have also been a university proctor and tutor for two years in the university's math department. I taught at the GED center also and have learned many ways of communicating and teaching complicated concepts. I tutored and have taught subjects from trigonometry, geometry, Calculus, and statistics. I have knowledge of mathematics. I kept all of my notes for quick reference and for a sample of a different teaching style. My note have their own concordance and title pages, yes, I like to be organized. I excelled in my math classes and learned from many teachers and thus accumulated many teaching styles so that I can best teach anyone.

I have two dogs whom I love and we go on many walks and swims as often as we can. I'm married and am looking for students to pass on my love of learning to. I attended the University of Alabama's math PhD program last semester until I decided that k-12 were the grades that I enjoy teaching, thus a Ph.D in mathematics was not necessary at the time; however, I plan to return to graduate school upon my husband's graduation from his Ph.D program.
