I have a BFA (2014) and MA (2016) in Art History from the Savannah College of Art and Design. I'm currently working on a MA (expected 2019) In Women's Studies and PhD in Interdisciplinary Studies (expected 2023) from The University of Alabama
Experience
I studied at the Savannah College of Art (SCAD) and Design for my Art History degrees. At SCAD, I perfected my artistry in black and white film photography while developing my other art skills as part of my Art History BFA studies. My studies in Art History were intensive at SCAD as I had to complete two Thesis projects for my BFA and MA studies. While at SCAD during my Master's studies, I tutored at the Writing Center in writing regardless of the student's degree program and major. As a tutor, I approach each student individually during our tutoring sessions as no two students are the same. I individualize each tutoring session to fit the needs of my students. I am continuing my Art History studies as an Interdisciplinary Studies Doctoral Student at UA while also working as an adjunct and tutor. I understand that each student I teach and tutor has their own ways of learning and studying. My philosophy is to spread the love of learning and art by making the subject matter intriguing for all.
